Nestled among the trees, The Island School campus is warm, open and airy, with room to breathe, think, experiment, discover, create and play. Spacious, beautiful, light-filled classrooms, sky-lit hallways, an art studio, a library full of books, gender neutral bathrooms, an inner courtyard, a kitchen, theater and gym, the playfield and the surrounding woods are all designed for teaching elementary school children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Learning and discovery at our independent private school extends far beyond the classroom into the forest, Puget Sound, the Kitsap Peninsula, Seattle and beyond.
